Tickets can be purchased in person from our website, via www.ticketquarter.co.uk, or via our box office on 0344 561 0622.
There are 8 steps from Hope Street to enter the building. We currently have an application in process to have a lift installed, however there is not yet a date when this will be completed by. Once inside the building, everything is on one level and there are no further steps. There are accessible toilets. We always operate unreserved seating. Customers who require additional room or support should make themselves known to the Front of House Team on arrival.
All tickets are set out by email. If you haven’t received your tickets within 10 minutes of purchasing them, you may have inputed an incorrect email address or your tickets may be in your junk or spam folder. Our box office telephone line – 0344 561 0622 – is open from Monday – Saturday, 9am – 9pm and on Sundays and bank holidays from 10am – 4pm. The Box Office is closed on Christmas Day. You can also purchase tickets online 24/7 by clicking here.
The theatre box office opens 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. We do not have the facility to accept card or cheque payments at the box office. Cash machines are available near by. Doors to the theatre open 5-10 minutes before a performance is due to start.

Ticket purchases are non-refundable. We cannot offer any kind of refund unless the event is cancelled or has considerable changes made to it, such as a change of date.
Our box office is managed by Ticket quarter which processes your card details over a secure Internet connection, making it completely safe to order tickets online. The connection between your browser and the Ticket quarter web server is protected with SSL (Secure Socket Layer), which creates a connection over which financial details can be safely passed between your computer and a transactional website.
We dispatch all tickets via email. If you haven’t received your tickets, please check your junk mail or spam folder. Please also check the email address that you have inputed when purchasing your ticket.

All ticket sales through Ticket Quarter are subject to a booking fee. A booking fee is added to tickets to cover the cost of providing a box office service in addition to covering the provision of a contact centre, and the investment required to provide the ticketing software, call centre technology and on-line ticketing provision. These amounts are set in relation to the ticket price.
If a show or event is cancelled or rescheduled, we will use reasonable endeavours to notify all ticket holders of the cancellation once we have received the relevant authorisation from the tour promoter or organiser. We do not guarantee that ticket holders will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the event. We will also use reasonale endeavours to post details of a show or event cancellation on our social media pages.
We are unable to consider any requests for refunds or exchanges once a ticket has been purchased.
We often don’t know this until the day of the performance. Most shows run at somewhere between 1 hour and 2 hours 30 mins including interval.
Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
Our box office is operated by Ticket Quarter. Ticket Quarter is a member of STAR – Secure Tickets from Authorised Retailers. STAR Members comply with a code of practice designed to help customers. You can be sure that a STAR member will always give the highest standard of professional service.
In common with many fringe venues, The Hope Street Theatre operates unreserved seating.
If the show uses strobes, signage will be displayed at the theatre advising customers of the details before the performance. If you have a condition that is directly affected by any of these please contact us before the performance and we can check with the visting company and give you more details.
