What Happens Next?
Tip Tray Theatre in partnership with The Hope Street Theatre are proud to present a new writing competition titled ‘What Happens Next?’
‘What Happens Next?’ is a competition set over three nights. The first two nights will see the opening twenty minutes of eight brand new pieces of writing be performed. On the third and final night the best four, as voted for by the audience and an industry professional, will have their writing performed again. A new panel of industry heavyweights will then vote on one true winner!
The Hope Street Theatre is also able to offer an exciting prize pool. The overall winner will win a week-long run at The Hope Street Theatre the following year with all of their hire costs covered, as well as support with rehearsal space. They will also receive dramaturgical support from those at Tip Tray Theatre, The Hope Street Theatre and even some sessions with George Turvey of the Olivier Award winning PapaTango.
The competition takes place at The Hope Street Theatre on January 18th, 19th & 20th 2024
