A little help

Good questions.

Can I bring my own drinks and snacks?

Yes — Bring What You Like lets you bring your own refreshments, within our published limits. Our Christmas Pantomime is excluded. See what you can bring →

How do I book?

Choose a show and follow its booking link to Ticket Quarter. You can also call 0344 561 0622, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, or book in person at the M&S Bank Arena box office during its opening hours; call ahead to check times.

Where are my tickets?

Check your email and junk folder for your Ticket Quarter confirmation. If it is missing, contact customerservice@ticketquarter.co.uk with the show, performance date and booking name. For missing tickets to a performance in the next 72 hours, email wherearemytickets@ticketquarter.co.uk.

Can I choose my seat?

Most productions have unreserved seating. Our Christmas Pantomime has allocated seating, confirmed during booking. If you need additional room or support, speak to the Front of House team on arrival. Please check access information before booking.

Is the theatre step-free?

No. There are eight entrance steps from Hope Street and no step-free entrance at present. Once inside, everything is on one level with accessible toilets. There is no hearing loop; for assistance dogs, please contact the box office. Please contact us before booking if you need advice about the entrance or your visit.

When should I arrive?

The theatre box office opens 30 minutes before each performance and can only sell tickets for that day’s show, first come first served. Allow time to find the entrance and take your seat. Have your Ticket Quarter confirmation ready on your phone or printed.

Is there a bar or cloakroom?

The bar at the front of the building is open to theatre patrons, and drinks can be taken into the auditorium in plastic cups. There is no cloakroom, so please keep coats and bags with you.

Can I use my phone or take photos?

Please switch your phone to silent or off during the performance. Photography is not permitted.

How long do shows run, and are latecomers admitted?

Show times vary, but most evenings at Hope Street finish by 10pm. Late admission depends on the visiting company’s policy; it cannot always be guaranteed but will be at a suitable break where possible.

Can I exchange or cancel my tickets?

Contact Ticket Quarter about exchanges to another performance of the same show. The published ticket policy says purchases are non-refundable unless a show is cancelled or significantly changed; consult the full ticket terms for details.

Are there concessions or companion tickets?

Concessions vary by production and are listed on the booking page; you may be asked for proof of eligibility. Hope Street’s current policy requires a Nimbus registration number for eligible access tickets or discounts. Contact the box office to discuss your booking.

How do I get to the theatre?

We’re at 22 Hope Street, L1 9BY, diagonally opposite the Everyman. It’s a ten-minute walk from Lime Street or Central, Arriva buses 1 and 4 stop nearby, and taxi drivers can aim for the Everyman or the Pen Factory. Full directions and parking →
