Head and Rome, two detectives battling boredom, are sent to the town of Castlefort to investigate a missing persons case. When they get there, they meet Joe, a man who claims that the people around him are being replaced by aliens. As they investigate the case further, it sends them spiralling down a web of conspiracy theories, subscription tiers and AI-generated content. CTRL-ALT Productions (creators of Edinburgh Fringe success "It Happened on a Tuesday") return with their second show - a farcical mystery comedy inspired by Invasion of the Body Snatchers, set in the present day - where the internet is being rapidly polluted by egos and misinformation.
